美达菲(中国)教育集团学监高彩霞在庄严的升旗仪式上如是说：“书写中国百年留学史的留学生们，从来都不仅仅为了独善其身而留学。希望走进美达菲的学子心怀“修身、齐家、治国、平天下”抱负， 让自己成长为“怀中国心的世界人”。

Gao Caixia, dean of Macduffie (China) Education Group, said at the solemn flag-raising ceremony: "Students who have written China's century-long history of studying abroad have never studied just for the sake of staying safe. 美达菲学校IB考官数学教师金贝辈 ，针对学校开设的IB课程、美高课程、CTC课程三类课程，倾情送给学生如何提高学术素养的“干货”。

Jin Beibei, IB examiner and math teacher of Meidai School, gave the students "dry goods" on how to improve their academic literacy in view of the IB course, American high School course and CTC course offered by the school.

开学式上， 高三CTC班级的王同学代表12年级的所有学生发出宣言，“高三我们会面对学习上更多的困难，但是这不会成为我们放弃远大志向的理由，而是更加勤奋的催化剂，我们会鼓足勇气大步行进在实现梦想的路上”;新生宗俪颖代表新同学发言，她对美达菲学校喜爱之情溢于言表，她说美达菲学校的“集体、正直、尊重、创造力、领导力、卓越”的价值观，是他们的“最爱”，也将是他们的不懈的追求，希望在美达菲大家庭中健康快乐成长。
