根据发展规划，上海铭远双语高级中学在原有加拿大安大略省课程(OSSD)、国际文凭课程(IBDP)的基础上，开设第三种国际课程：美国高中课程，以满足学生个性化的学习需求。日前，美达菲全球学术委员会成员中国区学术总监Vicki Saul为我校美高教师提供全面的学术培训。

According to the development plan, our school has established a third international program based on Ontario Provincial Program(OSSD) and International Baccalaureate (IBDP): American high school program to meet the individualized learning needs of students. Recently, Vicki Saul,Academic Director of the China Academic Committee of Macduffie Global Academic Committee, provided comprehensive academic training for our high school teachers.

美高教师培训

培训中Vicki介绍了美高课程的授课内容、教材和学分标准，对教师所要提交的材料进行了说明，还演示了如何使用线上系统完成作业布置和学生情况记录以及与家长的沟通等内容。课程特别安排了讨论环节，Vicki与每位授课教师进行了深入沟通。

During the training, Vicki introduced the content, textbooks and credits of the courses, and explained the materials to be submitted by the teachers. It also demonstrated how to use the online system to complete assignments and student records and communication with parents. The course also arranged a discussion session, and Vicki had an in-depth communication with each instructor.

Founded by the Macduffiecouple who graduated from Harvard University in 1890, Macduffie is a 127-year-old American private school and the oldest school in Massachusetts.Macduffie is based on the student's actual situation. The original American textbooks, graduates are mostly American elite universities. Based on the Common Core Standard, Macduffie provides integrated courses for students to understand the wide range of interdisciplinary connections and to develop students' self-learning skills through reading and topical discussion. At the same time, Macduffie School offers AP and Honor programs for students with higher learning abilities.
