近日，来自美国肯塔基大学孔院访问团的中学生参加了上海铭远双语高级中学Homestay活动。他们一起*饺子、逛城隍庙、写书法、品尝北京烤鸭和火锅等当地特色美食。在交流中了解中外文化差异,加深了彼此之间的友谊。High school students from Confucius Institute at Kentucky University in the United States attended the Homestay event recently.They made dumplings together, visited the Chenghuang Temple, wrote calligraphy, and tasted local specialties like Beijing Roast Duck and hotpot.They deepen their friendship and stand the cultural differences between China and foreign countries through the communication.

IB班的蔡彦琳邀请12年级的美国高中生Dunson来到家里，请她吃北京烤鸭，逛美国女孩也喜欢的时装店。Cai Yanlin, from IB class, invited Dunson, a 12th-grade American high school student, to her home to eat Beijing Roast Duck and visit the fashion stores that American girls also like.

高一CTC班的程溥磊和赵恺志邀请了10年级的Thomas到家里，这位美国朋友对学习中文非常感兴趣，还主动向他们讨教中文。Cheng Pulei and Zhao Kaizhi of CTC class in grade ten invited Thomas of grade 10 to their home. The American friend is very interested in learning Chinese and asked them for advice.

何平带领Lauren和Daisy逛城隍庙，写书法，吃臭豆腐特色小吃。He Ping , Lauren and Daisy went to Chenghuang Temple to write calligraphy and eat Stinky Tofu.

高老师邀请了我校学生郭桐菲、Payden和Kyra一起到家中做客，讨论中国和美国的STEM教育差异，分享高中生活的趣事。Mr Gao invited Guo Tongfei , Payden and Kyra to home to discuss the difference of STEM education between China and the United States ,and they shared the fun of high school life.

高一的卫呈聪与Ashton一起品尝上海特色菜肴。Ashton and Wei Chengcong of the 10th grade tasted Shanghai cuisine together.

徐若宁同学陪Logan 逛超市，讨论中外食材的区别，分享关于运动的乐趣。Xu Ruoning went to the supermarket with Logan to discuss the differences between Chinese and foreign food materials and they shared the fun of sports.

预科班的孙铭成家人为Jackson准备了丰盛的晚餐，他们一起观看世界杯足球比赛，为喜欢的球队加油。Sun Mingcheng's family prepared a big dinner for Jackson.And they watched the World Cup and cheered on their favorite team.

Ashley,Sophia和陈老师一起逛当地的菜场，与同龄的中国高中生开Party，畅谈未来的理想。Ashley,Sophia and Mrs Chen went to the local vegetable market together, they held party with Chinese high school students of the same age, and they shared about their future dreams.

美国高中生来铭远高级中学参加Homestay活动

Ashley和Graciela来到家里做玫瑰花饺子，体验小区里的健身设施，还**了当前中国流行的比心手势。Ashley and Graciela went home to make rose dumplings, they experienced the fitness facilities in the community, and learned the popular BIXIN gesture in China.

Madeline和Yuni与10年级CTC的罗浩澜的同学一起品尝火锅。Madeline and Yuni tasted hot pot together with Luo Haolan's classmates from CTC grade 10.

这次homestay活动不仅让学生们锻炼了英语口语表达，也在交流中更深入地了解了中美文化差异，加深了中美青少年之间的友谊。The Homestay activity not only enables students to practice oral English expression, but also enables them to have a deeper understanding of the cultural differences between China and the United States and deepen the friendship between Chinese and American teenagers.
